A nonexhaustive list of questions

WHO: me.  known aliases: johnnyhongkong, disco (los angeles only), deacon (new york only), and a host of other aliases which will not be disclosed.

WHAT: a centrally located clearinghouse of all things that have to do with me and associated identities; a easy way to keep up to date, to announce and showcase work, to keep in touch, and to draft.

WHERE: born in taiwan (taipei); grew up in san francisco (yes, the city proper); lived in boston (dorchester), cambridge (inman square and porter square), new york (poughkeepsie and manhattan); los angeles (miracle mile and koreatown); west hollywood; whois (at) johnnyhongkong dot com

WHEN: 10-4.  i used to marvel that the month and day of my birthday is the same as cb call sign for “loud and clear, good buddy.”  as “10″ and “4″ are homonyms for death in chinese, i’m not quite sure how to think about my birthday anymore.

WHY: my parents loved each other and wanted to start a family.  beyond that, i’m not sure “why.”

Bonus why: when was young, my mom would try to convince me that she found me in a garbage can and that i was so cute she just had to take me in.
