I have seen this dress on several different sites and blogs. The most popular opinion of it was not good in any way.

I however disagree. This is the dress I will be wearing on my wedding day. I am going with a western theme as I am a true cowgirl! I ride pro rodeo for a living and will have a lot of people at my wedding.

I will however be changing the accessories as I believe the ones shown here are absolutely wrong for this design. I will be wearing granny boots in Ivory, a felt cowboy hat and western jewelry by Montana Silversmith. The flowers will be yellow roses, Texas Bluebonnets, and other native wildflowers.

If you accessorize properly the dress is absolutely amazing. This dress is not as heavy as it looks and will be easy to get on and off my horse with. Not to mention a breeze to two step and waltz in.

I would love to be able to send pictures to the designer with better accessories so the design will stop getting all the bad blogging.

It is a beautiful gown for a non virgin and non first marriage western wedding.

Everyone talks about wanting traditional but they wish to break the true traditions as far as color of dress and style approperiate for their situation. That is why we all say it is the bride's day and she can have what she wishes.

Good luck to all those about to walk down the isle!

I have been anti-cell phone for the last three years (I'm a college junior). In high school, my parents gave my twin brother and I a phone for emergency situations, but we hardly used it. Since beginning college, I've become increasingly astounded at the way people are very dependent on their ability to phone and text walking to class, in their cars, etc. It's just a pity that people will do anything to escape the world around them.
