The controversy continues in SNL’s casting of Fred Armisen to play THE MOST TRANSFORMATIONAL POLITICAL FIGURE SINCE JESUS. 

I dunno what the big deal is.  The name “Obama” sounds kind of Japanese.  Armisen is half Japanese/half white.  Obama is half white/half black.  Armisen played Prince.  It all works out in a weird sort of way.  Plus, it’s a sketch comedy show.  Get over it. 

But, it did occur to me while watching the Oscars Red Carpet that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would be a GREAT Barack Obama for SNL.  They sound alike, have the same oratorical style, and Johnson has slimmed down post professional wrestling.  Too bad he’s such a damn movie star now.

It’s a shame.

Anyway, Barack’s been co-opting all of the People’s Candidate’s positions anyway, it’d be fitting for him to co-opt the People’s Champion’s signature phrase.  Can you imagine Hillary accusing Barack of plagiarizing from The Rock?  That would be hilarious.
