Our nephew had his first photoshoot at the hospital. According to his grandma, Chet doesn’t like camera flashes. They make him cry.
Also, he’s the sharpest baby in the nursery. While other babies are content to spend their first day in this world asleep like lotus eating Philistines (that’s right, I called a nursery full of newborns “lotus eating Philistines”), Chet hardly sleeps, spending his time taking in all of the new sights.
The nephew’s name is growing on me. Curiously, there is a River Chet in England.
