Like last year, I was planning to almost live blog the big game but I ditched the idea when Super Bowl XLI became the the worst Super Bowl in recent memory.
First, CBS, with the worst professional sports presentation of all the major networks, broadcasts the game, so everything looks and feels like weak sauce.
Second, the commercials? Are you kidding me? Every other commercial was a CBS TV spot, Bud Light Commercial, or an ad for Flomax. Two-thirds of the Career Builder commercials were funny but that’s about it. Not that last year’s commercials were anything to cry home about but they were leaps and bounds better than this year’s. I half expected a commercial for the Law Offices of James B. Sokolove.
And third, Peyton Manning finally wins a big game.
What a tremendous suck.
