As most of you know, we are virulently anti-cellphone. But we’ve beeen thinking about getting one or two of them things for a while now. We’ve successfully beat back the urges until recently and conversations and research have heated up.

We’re having cognitive dissonance as to whether or not we hedge our bets and get cheap prepaid phones which we can ditch whenever we want or go whole hog, get the new Sidekick and handsfree units like the motherfucker in the picture and finally, as Carmen Santa Rosa says, “plug into the world.”

Ugh…
