Who would have thought that my misspelling of Ben Roethlisberger (Rothlisberger) in my Superbowl Live Blog, would lead to hundreds ofÂ hits today from fans around the country who have a similar spelling deficit,Â looking for info on Big Ben’s motorcylce accident.Â

I wasn’t planning on writing about it but I feel bound to my fellow bad spellers who just want some info on their fallen hero.Â Here’s the quick and dirrrrty:

Big Ben was on a radio show in Pittburgh this morning and afterwards was riding his motorcycle downtown.
Someone side swiped him and he lost control of his bike and flew into the windshield of another car.
He is in serious but stable condition with a broken jaw and no teeth.
He was not wearing a helmet.
