Considering that the cinetrix linked to my post about Terry Malick shooting bacon taped on walls, I guess it was fitting that she sent me on assignment to stalk Mr. Manola Dargis at his new restaurant which is why she had first dibs on my review. Now that she’s published it, I’m not going to reprint it here – it’d be an example of blog gaucherie and certainly too “printing press” for my tastes – instead, I’ll just quote myself on my own blog:

Eating in a David Lynch movie is not the most settling experience, if you catch my drift, but the wine list, pig candy, and mac and cheese make the place a keeper.

It is now obvious that the future of entertainment is Pig Candy
. Click here and here and here and here for more reasons why you should eat it, particularly at Lou On Vine.

(all this linking back and forth has got me in a po-mo kinda mood. maybe tomorrow i’ll get it up to post a meta review of my review of Lou).
