In my almost live blog of the Super Bowl, I had the following questions:
- Where was Joe Montana during the MVP ceremony?
- Why did Seattle choose to play The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” when they ran out of the tunnel and onto the field?
- Does Pepsi know that “brown and bubbly” recalls diarrhea and when will we see the ad execs’ resumes hitting Monster.com?
- Why don’t they make walkers with sliding assistance built in on the back legs?
- Why can’t Mike Holmgren properly call plays?
Now the day after, we have one answer:
That’s pretty weak if you ask me, but on the otherhand, if you’ve already “been there and done that” four times, being at the big game must lose some of its allure and actually resembling something like “work.” So yeah, Montana was weak but how about Pittsburgh Steeler Terry Bradshaw’s no-show? (UPDATE: both Montana and Bradshaw say that they were no shows at the MVP ceremony because of other reasons.).
The other questions are still unanswered. If anyone has a clue on the answers to #’s 2-5, drop me a line.
